A coffee shaped by place

Where geography, climate & altitude meet

Bagheni Coffee Estate lies in an extraordinary corner of the world. Located just 37 kilometres north of the Equator and approximately 20 kilometres from Margherita Peak — Rwenzori Mountains, Africa's third highest point covered with snow throughout the year, our coffee is cultivated where geography, climate, and altitude come together to create exceptional growing conditions.

The Rwenzori Mountains, often called the Mountains of the Moon, capture moisture from the surrounding landscape, feeding fertile soils, crystal-clear mountain streams, and a cool high-altitude climate that allows Arabica coffee cherries to mature slowly and develop remarkable sweetness, complexity, and balance.

For us, these mountains are more than a backdrop, they are the source of our water, our climate, and our identity. Every harvest reflects the unique environment that surrounds the estate, from the equatorial sunshine that nourishes our trees throughout the year to the cool mountain air that shapes the character of every bean.

This is coffee grown in one of Africa's most remarkable landscapes, where the Equator meets the legendary Rwenzori Mountains, and where every cup tells the story of a place unlike any other.
